1. Who these terms are between

This website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] (“we”, “us”). By using this site, downloading Fleet, or signing in to a Fleet workspace, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

2. What is on offer, and it is two things

Fleet for Mac is a desktop application for macOS on Apple silicon. It runs entirely on your own machine. It has no account, no telemetry and no server component, and nothing about it creates an ongoing service relationship beyond providing the site and the download. Your use of it is governed by the end user licence agreement, which you accept by installing or using it.

Fleet workspaces is a separate, opt in hosted service, currently available by invitation. It gives you an account, and it runs the same application on a machine we provide, with its own storage volume. Signing in creates a service relationship, and sections 3a, 3b and 3c below apply only to it. Using Fleet for Mac never requires an account and never will.

3. What you need to bring

Fleet drives your own installation of Claude Code and, for pull requests, your own installation of the GitHub CLI. You need a valid, authenticated Claude Code setup, and your use of it is governed by your own agreement with Anthropic. Model usage is billed to your account. We do not resell, proxy or subsidise it, and we have no visibility into it.

3a. Your workspace account

A workspace account is created by signing in with GitHub, and it is yours alone: do not share it, and tell us if you think somebody else is using it. We may decline to create an account, and while the service is invite only we decline most of them, which is not a judgement about you.

One workspace per account. It stops itself when idle and after a fixed ceiling on a single run, and it has a monthly compute budget that you set and that refuses to start it once spent. The current figures are on the acceptable use page, as numbers.

3b. What a workspace may be used for

The acceptable use policy is part of these terms and is the document a suspension cites. In short: no mining, no exfiltration, no running services for third parties, no reaching another workspace, nothing unlawful. We may stop a workspace, and suspend an account, for breaching it.

We do not read the contents of your workspace volume. What we hold about a workspace, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

3c. Ending a workspace

You can delete your workspace at any time, which deletes its volume and everything on it, and we keep no copy. We may end the service, or your access to it, with reasonable notice, and immediately where something is unlawful or is actively harming somebody else. Where we end it, you will have a reasonable opportunity to get your work off the volume first, except where that is not possible.

The hosted service is in early access and is provided without any availability commitment. Do not keep work in a workspace that exists nowhere else.

4. Acceptable use of this site

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems serving it, and do not redistribute the Fleet download as though it were your own. Ordinary linking, quoting and referencing are welcome.

5. Intellectual property

The Fleet name, logo, application, documentation and the content of this site belong to us, except where a page says otherwise. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it.

The documentation on this site may be quoted and linked freely. The application is closed source and is licensed, not sold: see the licence agreement.

6. No warranty

This site, the download and the hosted service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the site or a workspace will be uninterrupted, that a workspace volume will not be lost, or that documentation is free of errors. Fleet is under active development and behaviour can change between releases.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of business arising from your use of this site, of Fleet for Mac, or of a workspace, including the loss of a workspace volume or of work held only on one. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Third party links

This site links to third parties, including Anthropic, GitHub and the projects behind the project templates. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their terms. Fleet workspaces is built on providers named in the privacy policy, which is where their role is described.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your own country of residence.
